Australian ITT Championship
I have the impression that the John or Jack ANDERSON confusion of last year is coming back again.
CQ as well as the (Australian) site cyclingnews.com gives John ANDERSON as second in the result of the ITT, but in the photolegends of cyclingnews he becomes Jack what would mean that it is the Jack ANDERSON riding this year for the Swedish team SPROCKET, and who in the past actually obtained most of his results in Time Trials.

I guess you're right again. I can't find a result including the birth dates, but the photo looks like it's our Swedish jack. I changed it.

PostSubject: New Zealand ITT Championship   Mon Jan 11, 2010 8:31 pm

I noticed that the ITT Championships of New Zealand for Elite and for U-23 riders were held on the same day, on the same course and over the same distance.

However, the results are shown separately on the official race website and CQ only includes the Elite riders. I wonder whether it should not be considered as one event. If you merge the results the U-23 riders Michael VINK and Wistley GOUGH become 2nd and 3rd, as they were both faster than the Elite number 2 Jeremy VENNELL.

By the way, the official race website (and the UCI) also show the Road Race results separate for Elite and U-23 riders although this was certainly a single event with the result as shown on CQ.

About the ITT: it happens very often that the National TT Championship for u23 and elite is organized over the same distance on the same day. Nevertheless, if there's a seperate result published, we will only take the elite result into account: mostly the "wave" of u23 riders has started some time before the elite riders, and then both rider groups might have had different circumstances.

Is it correct that Judith Arndt participated in the Australian NC Road race?

LeonCQ wrote:
Yes! It was an "open" championship.

Leon, the UCI website has corrected the New Zealand Road Race result and now also shows Elite and U-23 combined, with 24 finishers.

Number 4 of the last stage of the Amicale Amissa Bongo should be Mohamed ER-RAGRAGUI rather than Juan ERAZO.

6 Jose Alirio CONTRERAS (@4:13) and 7 Carlos GALVIZ (@4:39)

The race comment of stage 4 of the Etoiles des Besseges is incorrect. Dumoulin took a short cut. This is also the case for the following riders (directvelo.com live report of stage 5):
Les commissaires ont déclassé pour la même raison que celle évoquée pour Samuel Dumoulin les coureurs suivant : Anthony Geslin (Française des Jeux), Jean-Luc Delpech (Bretagne-Schuller), Dominique Rollin (Cervélo), Bolat Raimbekov (Astana), Yannick Talabardon (Saur-Sojasun) et Johan Coenen (Topsport Vlaanderen)

I guess UCI has lost contact with the Kerman organizers, the race is still in progress on the UCI site.
