Some riders in our database have such a UCI ID, but most do not have it. It is supposed to be unique for each rider and used by the UCI "forever". In the future, it could also help CQ to find duplicate riders in our database.

You can even search for a rider on CQ using his UCI ID. For example, if you search on CQ for 10008814351 you will find Neilson Powless. On his page http://www.cqranking.com/men/asp/gen/rider.asp?riderid=24902 you can see his UCI ID.

You can find it on results PDF and startlist PDF of a lot of races. UCI seem not to want to publish that information. It was possible to find it on the results page on the UCI website, but yesterday the results section on the UCI website has changed and now it is impossible.

I was doubting heavily, but decided to create a new rider (unfortunately).
Well, one thing is sure. The one riding in Colombia now has UCIID 10003198859 and rides for Movistar. Movistar has him as 19850109: http://www.movistarteam.com/equipo/oscar-soliz

The Hamidreza TOUSI finishing 20th in the RR championships of Iran is 25 years old in the UCI result. As this is the only result of 27529 I think you can change his date of birth.
As there was also a separate Junior championship it was actually surprising to find a Junior in the Elite result.

I updated Smith to GBR19730520 but forgot to modify his nationality accordingly. To me it looked alright, but on the website you see the nationality plus the birthday part of the UCI code.

In 2015 the Ethiopian federation changed the code of GIDAY Kbrom Hailay from ETH19890219 to ETH19950510.
His UCI ID is 10014880083.
For the CQ database he remained 1989 but, as he is this year the winner of the Youth Classification of the Tour Meles Zenawi, his year of birth must indeed be 1995. The first results of GIDAY Kbrom in the database are from the Tour de Rwanda in November 2011, what means that he would have been only 14 years old then.
Two possibilities:
- The Ethiopian Federation made him in 2011 a bit older to allow him to participate with their national selection in Rwanda, and corrected the “error” a few years later.
- There are two riders with the same name.
