For the calendar: There will be an ITT championship on 01/02/2019 I noticed it on the UCI calendar. In fact, many 2019 championship dates have already been mentioned on the UCI calendar sit.

| 1.- While it´s true that the Federation of Honduras has got a national anual ranking which consists of 5 races, it is the last one, this year on Dec. 4th, the one that counts for UCI. I watched it on internet livestream and understood the commentaries for I´m Spanish. That race was won by Luis López and was declared National UCI Champion. You can check the National Fed website. Admit it is difficult to follow their news even though you speak Spanish. 2.- Gary Schoenhals, 8th in the National Championship of Guam, was elegible to be national champion according to the rules of their Federation due to 10 years of residence or so, as many other before him in the standings. 3.- I came across Curaçao on the UCI website (and Sint Maarten) as a (new?) recognized UCI Federation. I remember not long ago that this site decided to not give points anymore to their Nationals and did it retroactively. 4.- Feroe Islands are not in fact in the list of Federations, contrary to football for instance. For those interested though I can say the winner this year was the usual suspect Torkil Veyhe.

| Pardon. Honduras date was December the 2nd indeed. As for the Qatar Championship, at he sight of the link provided, I can see an Open Champ won by Tom Whatley in 1h 30 min. more o less. He was followed by other 9 cyclists from abroad the country. The last one posted a better time that the first Qatari in the National Campionships which was more or less 1h 47 min. I wonder if they ran togheter. That would alter positions and points. Seems likely but not sure. | |

| As a newcomer to this section I give publicly my thanks to all people posting Nationals results, with a special mention to Roy and Hans. If anybody is interested whatever the reason for this results, they are by far the most difficult ones to find or understand and UCI doesn´t help much. By the way, speaking about the nationality of the absolute winner in Fiji Champs I bet he´s American and not Australian. Cannot guarantee it 100 % but I did my research on google and got to that conclusion. | |

“Caloi” BAGUYO is actually called John Carlo and he is a Filipino residing in Guam. He can be found in several triathlon results in the Far East. Concerning the eligibility of long term foreign residents to become Guam champion I found the following in an article about the 2017 Guam triathlon championships: “There was some confusion, with John Carlo Baguyo initially being named Guam Men’s National Champion, but it was later determined Baguyo did not meet eligibility requirements, giving the title to Art Guerrero. To qualify, athletes must either be from Guam or have five years' residency and possess a valid US Passport.” So eligibilty concerns only American passport holders residing in Guam for more than five years. It seems that it does not apply to Japanese, Filipino or other foreign residents. Gary Schoenhals is American and sergeant in the US Air Force. He is stationed in Guam since September 2016 ( article), so he will only become eligible, if he is still there, in 2021…..

| Thanks. See it's a bit of a mess. Regarding Guam everything seems to depend on residency. Nationality in itself doesn't exist in Guam, does it? We do not know the exact criteria for non-American residents to be eligible. Nor for the non-residents that were born over there. Bayugo has managed to meet the conditions in 2018 but not in 2017. Maybe 10 years are needed, maybe 5. | |
