Atlas Personal mit 16 Fahrern in die neue Saison

14.11.2010 - (rsn) - Das schweizerische Continental-Team Atlas Personal hat sein Aufgebot für 2011 bekannt gegeben. 16 Fahrer werden in der kommenden Saison das blau-rote Trikot der Mannschaft von Ueli Schumacher tragen, zwei weniger als in diesem Jahr. Zu den sieben Neuzugängen zählt auch der Deutsche Felix Rinker. Verlassen haben das Team neun Fahrer, darunter der Deutsche Frank Scherzinger. Der Kader besteht aus sieben Schweizern, drei Deutschen – Rinker, Felix Rösch und Florian Salzinger - , vier Franzosen sowie einem Ungarn und einem Litauer.

O português Bruno Borges (ex-ASC/Vitória/RTL) e o galego Alejandro Marque (ex-Palmeiras Resort-Prio-Tavira) são as derradeiras incorporações na equipa boavisteira, que em 2011 passa a designar-se Onda e terá dez corredores.

A estrutura comandada por José Santos sofreu uma grande renovação, com a mudança da designação da equipa e com a manutenção de apenas dois dos ciclistas que representaram os axadrezados em 2010, Célio Sousa e Alberto Morrás. Além do neoprofissional Bruno Borges e do experiente Alejandro Marque, foram também contratados os portugueses João Cabreira e Daniel Silva (ex-CC Loulé-Louletano-Orbitur-Aquashow), Bruno Lima e Hélder Oliveira (ex-Barbot-Siper), assim como os espanhóis Delio Fernández (ex-Xacobeo Galicia) e Jon Pardo (ex-Seguros Bilbao).

A Onda assume o patrocínio principal e a designação da equipa. A marca de equipamentos desportivos, que já fornecia a roupa de competição ao Boavista, ganha, assim, outro protagonismo.

A formação portuense vai iniciar a temporada em Janeiro, competindo na Argentina, no Tour de San Luis, que se desenrola de 17 a 23 de Janeiro.

Sérgio Sousa fecha plantel da Barbot-Efapel

O tirsense Sérgio Sousa (ex-Madeinox-Boavista) é o último reforço da Barbot-Efapel para 2011, completando um elenco de onze corredores, dos quais apenas cinco transitam da temporada anterior. “O Sérgio Sousa é um dos corredores mais regulares do pelotão nacional e é um excelente reforço para a equipa”, frisa o director-desportivo da formação de Gaia, Carlos Pereira.

Sérgio Sousa é o quarto corredor que tinha um compromisso com a Liberty Seguros que encontra acolhimento no plantel da Barbot-Efapel. Os outros são o campeão nacional de fundo, Rui Sousa, e António Amorim, que acabam por seguir às ordens de Carlos Pereira, e Filipe Cardoso (ex-LA-Paredes Rota dos Móveis).

Além daqueles quatro homens, o bloco gaiense completa-se com a continuidade de Sérgio Ribeiro, Carlos Baltazar e César Fonte e com as entradas de Santiago Pérez e Bruno Pinto (ex-CC Loulé-Louletano-Orbitur-Aquashow), Daniel Freitas (ex-Maia/Bike Team) e Raul Alarcón (ex-Asfaltos Guerola/Valencia Terra e Mar).
