Vuelta Independencia Republica Dominicana February 2012
With a bit of delay the UCI has disqualified all the members of the National Team of Kazakhstan from the results of the first four stages for collusion with the Astana Continental Team. (Who left the Vuelta out of protest at the start of Stage 5).
Alexey LUTSENKO lost his 3rd place in Stage 1 and his 9th in Stage 2a
Arman KAMYCHEV lost his win in Stage 4.
The rest of the top ten moves up one place. New numbers 10 are:

Stage 2a Manuel Andres SANCHEZ CUEVAS
Stage 4 Coulton HARTRICH (in the database incorrectly as HATRICH)

I only noticed these DSQ’s this week but they may already have been made shortly after the race because when checking the American Continental Rankings of March 2012, LUTSENKO and KAMYCHEV do not appear in there with the points they should have scored, and the ones that took there places are included. As the UCI does not have the habit to change rankings retroactively it may be an old story after all.

Thanks. That's strange, as I noticed very well why Rory mentioned his birthdate.

The CQ input module seems to take the first match on the name, instead of the CQ rider ID, if you save a result for another time (or load it again). Happened to me once with Jakub Novak.
