CQ DOES NOT follow the UCI rules: when a rider starts his traineeship, he is in CQ removed from his old team. But in fact, it would be more appropriate to show him in both his old team, and his new team (as a trainee), as the UCI consistently does for the last couple of years.

Well, i.r.t. the CQ database it gives some problems, as a rider can only be part of 1 team, otherwise "the system" is getting confused. (technical details, not my part of the job).
But we'll try to find a solution for next year.

Yes, I understand that this gives you a technical problem. It is similar to the “Guest” riders in the CQ Women database.

For the Team Rankings of the Continental Tours, the points earned by a Trainee in races with a WTT or PCT count for his CT…

For CQ's Team Rankings:
-a trainee's points earned while riding races for his trainee team count for the Season ranking of his trainee team
-a trainee's points earned while riding races for his old team (CT) or a selection count for the Season ranking of his old CT. (team has to be changed manually in the db)
-a trainee's actual CQ value counts for the Current (12 mths) ranking of his trainee team.
That last rule is the reason that a rider can't be part of 2 teams in our database.

China Jilun Cycling Team contracted three French riders: Simon BUTTNER (FRA19920614, id=22076), Sébastien JULLIEN and Julien LIPONNE. They are at the moment participating in the Tour of Taihu Lake.
The name of the team has changed to China Wuxi Jilun Cycling Team and the new team code is CWJ.

and always on the same event, Nz Michael VINK is riding (and has been registered) for Team BUDGET FORKLIFTS. On the other hand, Michael CUPITT has disappeared from the roster.

It seems that Johannes HUSEBY has never been a rider of Synergy Baku. The team never mentioned him on his website and the UCI removed him from the roster.
