| The positions of David GUTIERREZ GUTIERREZ and David GUTIERREZ PALACIOS are changed in Stage 5 of Dauphiné. And I wouldn't consider Stage 2 of Alentejo as a mountain stage, 87 riders arrived at 2 seconds of Pires. - DaniCQ wrote:

- UCI's results didn't match that yesterday at evening, fortunately someone is keeping up with the finetuning. Thx a lot! Actually, there was a full tie between those two, even with the positions, but the UCI did not take into account the better place by Lang in stage 2.

| Not only the Prologue of the Carpathia Couriers Path (09/06), but also Stage 1 from Wojnicz to Szerzyny (112 km), scheduled for 10/06, was cancelled due to floods. The two stages held on 11/06 were the original 2nd and 3rd stage. The race, which started in Poland and finished in Slovakia, is by the UCI not considered as a Polish but as a Slovakian race. - LeonCQ wrote:
- OK, thanks for the explanation.

| I've seen that TdF's 3 first stages are as Dutch/Belgian. In that case Stage 6 of TdF 2009 should be Spanish, 2009 Vuelta's 4 first stages should be Dutch/Belgian... (I agree with changing the flags) - LeonCQ wrote:
- There was to be some rule for the flags, but I cant find it. I Think we use the flag of the country a stage is finishing. But we're not consequent at all in it, at least not in the Tour.
We might chose this solution: only use different flags in a race that is being organized by 2 countries: f.e. Eneco Tour or the Polish-Slovakian Carpathia race of last month | |

| The UCI results of the Mainfranken-Tour give Marc GOOS as winner of the Prologue and Jarno GMELICH as second. GOOS got later a 10 seconds penalty for cutting a bend, but this was apparently only counted in the General Classification. So for the UCI GOOS was the winner of the Prologue, but GMELICH the leader of the General Classification with GOOS as fifth at 10 seconds..... - LeonCQ wrote:
- Remarkable... Sometimes we chose to handle things differently than the UCI, like in the result of the GP Lugano, where the UCI had put 3 riders in the top-20 that did not finish. I think this is a good example to be consequent as CQ and declare Gmelich Meijling also winner of the prologue...
