The birth date 10 April is to be found more often so I guess this second one is the correct one and also has the correct spelling of the surname.

In the results of the Tour du Rwanda 2013 you find both: ERI19940410 on the UCI site and ERI19940817 on the site of the organisers.

To confuse the issue a bit further, ERI19940817 is in the UCI results of the Critérium d’Alger and the Tour d’Algérie 2014 no longer called GEBREZGABIHIER Amanuel but EGERZEIGZAARHKA Amanuel….   

Maybe he should be in the database, until this get cleared up, as GEBREZGABIHIER EGERZEIGZAARHKA Amanuel, code ERI19940817

As the Eritreans seem to know him as GEBREZGAB(I)H(I)ER and the UCI as EGERZEIGZAARHKA I suggest that he should be in the database as EGERZEIGZAARHKA GEBREZGABIHIER Amanuel, in the same way as his countrymen TEKLEHAIMANOT GIRMAZION Daniel and KUDUS GHEBREMEDHIN Merhawi.

I combined both riders as GEBREZGABIHIER EGERZEIGZAARHKA Amanuel now. Gebrezgabihier is his Eritrean first name, and the name that the UCI used before this month, so until further notice we'll keep it in this order.

You're right, but your last remark can also be applied to the Japanese and Australians, as their elite team may take part in UCI races this year. We'll better wait until the end of the year or so, to avoid unnecessary deletings.

From my point of view, I suspect an error of the timekeeper (or the officials) of the races where this rider was racing early on. These people try to translate the rider's licence as correct as possible but sometimes fails...
Both names are sounding roughly in the same way. I think the name reported on Eritrean press should be the right one.
