Are you sure about that? Was the race shortened due to bad weather?

Are you sure about that? Was the race shortened due to bad weather? The 156 km comes from the result on the website of the organizers: http://www.gpcapodarco.net/ Judging by the photos it was a nice sunny day, no reason to shorten the race. In previous years the distance was indeed 180 km and the time of the winner a bit over 4h20’. This year the winning time was 3h41’. For 180 km that gives an average of 48,8 km/h, for 156 km a more reasonable 43,2 km/h. I assume that as the race was previously 1.2 but this year 1.2U, the organizers choose for a shorter distance but used in their road book the old time table and profile… PS Jack HAIG participated with the Australian selection so his team should be "-" instead of OGE

- The last of the three races, GP di Capodarco, is probably the most famous of the three. I finished fourth there last year. The weather wasn’t kind to us this time around and it turned out be the wettest race I have ever done. We basically had a flash flood mid-race and the race had to be naturalised for a while because they ran out of ambulances. I got quite cold while the race was neutralised and my legs never came back to their best after that. I finished 13th.

Are you sure about that? Was the race shortened due to bad weather? You were right Dijk! The report on the Race Website actually talks about the bad weather (that nice picture of the podium is a bit misleading). They do not mention the neutralisation but it says that the jury shortened the race by a lap….

Chris Anker SØRENSEN did finish stage 6 and therefore was not DNF. He did not participate at all at the Tour of California, right? I couldn't discover which other race you are talking about, since I cannot find a DNF for CAS in 2015. CAS was originally shown DNF in Stage 6 of the Tour of Colorado, but somebody (Leon?) corrected that yesterday (see sequence of “recently updated races” on the homepage).

| The UCI results of the GP Plouay are not fully correct yet, a.o. Viviani should be 15th instead of Rowe ( source), and some other riders (ao Devenyns) mentioned that they have finished the race although being ranked as DNF. | |

The UCI still has Luke ROWE as 15th and Elia VIVIANI DNF, but inserted Dries DEVENYNS (90th) and Francis DE GREEF (91st) at +1'02".
