Results 2016

Topic for remarks/additions about results of 2016. Unfortunately we are not perfect, all your help is appreciated.

According GC of the day, fifth of Stage 3 Tour of Egypt (http://www.cqranking.com/men/asp/gen/race.asp?raceid=28970) should be RAGAEY Islam Nasser

There is no Chinese on the startlist, so 11th can't be a Chinese

The fact that the Tour of Egypt straddles over two calendar years seems to have upset the system a bit.  

The CQ points of the first four stages, run in 2015, are either still to be added to the end of year 2015 rankings or included in 2016? At the moment they are in neither.
In the CQ calendar the race is neither under December 2015 nor January 2016.
In the individual result pages of the riders, the Prologue and Stages 1 and 3 are shown under a heading 2016, Stage 2 under a heading 2015….
In the same pages the final GC is dated 03 instead of 02/01/2016.

A few changes have been made, but there is still a bit of work left:

All stages, also those in 2015, are now counting for the Team Ranking 2016, but only Stage 3 (31/12/2015), Stage 4 and Final GC for the Rider Ranking 2016.
In the rider pages the results of the 2015 stages are under the 2015 button but with a 2016 heading.
In the rider pages the Final GC date is 3 instead of 2/01/2016.
The race is not in the CQ Calendar.

Concerning the rider names there are also a few corrections (see also post of Iamthebestcoach under Rider Data):
ADD Mohammed (25167) is the same rider as IDRIS Abdullah (24193) and his full name is IDRIS Abdullah Mohammed.
HELAL Mohamed Eleiwa (25168) is the same rider as MOHAMED Yusuf (23943). In other results he is under the names: MOHAMED ELEWA Yusuf, SEMLALI Youssef, ELEWA Yusef or MOHAMED HELAL Youssef. Suggest to put him in the database as MOHAMED HELAL Eleiwa Yusuf.

By the way, until today the UCI has not published any result of the Tour of Egypt. Either they have a technical problem as well, or the race is not considered 2.2 anymore, as the participation was rather minimal: 35 starters only.

The two entries have been merged in the database but it seems that he lost in the process his first place with Egypt A in the TTT of the Tour of Egypt. At the other hand Islam RAMADAN did not finish in the time of his team mates of Egypt A.

Concerning TTT’s, there is still a post pending under Results 2015:
Also Soufiane HADDI was member of the winning team SkyDive Dubai in the TTT of the Jelaya Malaysia.

The UCI finally published the results. All stages count for 2016 with application of the new point scales.

The results are slightly different of those published on CQR.

For Ethiopia : HAILAY Kibrom is not the same rider that GIDAY Kbrom Hailay. UCI code of the first one is ETH19950510. And he did finish with the same as his team mates.
ER RAFAI (Morocco), AWUKU (Ghana), RAMADAN (Egypt), etc. as well.

In the database are results of the Asian Games, Southeast Asian Games and East Asian Games, so maybe you should also enter those of the South Asian Games held earlier this month in India. Participating countries in the cycling event were India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.
