Benfatto and Renev were not present at the team meeting, but Nepomnyachshiy was. I am not sure that Benfatto will join the team because he is the only non-Russian speaking rider.

A bit confusing indeed. Assume that the source for both must have been the website of USA Cycling:

However, as mentioned in the article of VeloNews, there are several names missing in this official list as more contracts were registered at a later date: Jason Mccartney with Bissell, Adam Myerson (plus 2 others) with SmartStop and probably a few more.
It seems that Cyclingnews has added those.
