In addition to all these obsolete website links there are many active links to websites which have not been updated for years.
There are also a few links that actually go through to a facebook page.
Any plans to add facebook links in the CQ rider database??
That would be a big job, as there are probably more than a thousand riders in the database which are on facebook, many more than with active websites…

Danish site feltet.dk had a piece today about Danes riding in foreign continental teams. He is not mentioned. http://m.feltet.dk/nyheder/danskerfokus_udlandsamatoererne/
And feltet.dk gave him AUS nationality in their database.
procyclingstats gave him a DEN nationality.
I went through his FB posts. He never posted anything in Danish.

Yes, finally... I made a Special Rider Stories department in the Press Center page.
I didn't manage to find all the posts mentioning rider articles worth reading. I remember some interesting stories about Caribbean riders from 4-5 years ago, so if any one can fin the back, I would be very thankful. And of course new stories are very welcome too!

When looking for information on riders who are “ageless” in the database, you sometimes come across some small stories of human drama and success.

According to the UCI page of Budget Forklifts and the rider profiles on the site of his team he is from Denmark but when you listen to his Australian accent in this interview he must have emigrated to Australia a long time ago…(or do you still hear some Danish undertones Jaroslav?)

No Danish undertones. At least not when watching it with my 2 year old daughter on the knee (what is that? Is it dad? Who is it? Etc etc)

I guess Juel was born in Denmark, has moved to Australia during his early or late childhood, and is racing on an Australian licence now. Last year, he was even in the database as an Australian, until someone mentioned that he was born in Denmark. But best thing is to put him back to AUS, I guess.

On the Coop - Oster Hus website  ( http://www.osterhus-ridley.no/index.php/rytter ), Harold Frengstad Berger is called the other way, i.e Harold Berger FRENGSTAD. So the question is : who's right, who's wrong ??

Kristian Juel is Danish both on the UCI and on Team Budget Forklifts website. Maybe you should wait for a change from the UCI to switch him to an Australian licence. Like German-Australian Heinrich Haussler he may have a Danish father and an Australian mother.

After the South African RR Championships three riders were initially included in the CQ result and added to the database, but were later removed from the result, as they finished just outside the top thirty (CQ depth rule).

I think that rider #21487 HSIEH Cheng Yin and #19672 YING Hsieh Chang are one and only rider with correct birthdate being 31/03/1993. Should earn a double check however...

I think you are right that they are the same rider Stephane.
Date of birth is 31/01/1993 and the correct (at least most often used..) spelling is HSIEH Cheng Ying
(by the way, this also implies a retroactive correction of the Transfer Overviews of the last three years)
