To keep this topic clear, comprehensible and up-to-date, we will put our remarks in the visitor posts as quotes in darkred.

The missing birth date of OWSIAN Lukasz is 1990-02-24 (extracted from his UCI code in results).

have you thought about including the twitter or facebook direction of some riders in their profile? That said, maybe it's just a trend and two or three years from now, cyclists are no longer using twitter.

Actually I just noticed that the Plowman Craven team has disappeared from the UCI list of Continental Teams. That has happened also to other teams, like Team Piemonte, but this one is new for us. The teamsite is also a dead link now. Has anyone more info on this?

Yeh, they are no longer a continental registered team. They encountered financial difficulties in June, and became just Madison.co.uk

I know that Tony Gibb left the team around that time aswell to Elite-2 - not sure if any other riders left also.

Irish Criterium Champion Paul Healion died in a car-crash on the Glack to Drumcondrath Road near Ardee Co. Louth night Sunday 16th August. The crash occurred at around 10.30pm, Paul was the sole occupant of the car and there were no other vehicles involved in the crash. Gardai are currently investigating the cause of the accident.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Paul's wife Ann, family and friends.

Don't rely on that, I talked to my mate at BDS David, who's been the press officer of Azpiru team in the past (Marcosano's squad in 2008), and he told me that he was indeed living in Fuenlabrada (outskirts of Madrid) for many years, but considered himself an Argentinean.

But more confusing is that this year, he is listed in the elite2 races from the Spanish cup as Italian!? Confusing.

It might be just the CQ-rule. Only the most common accents are used: the Ñ is indeed used from some time ago, plus the umlauts (ä, ö, ü), cedilles (ç) and e-accents (é, ë, è) in French, but not accents in Easteuropean or Scandinavian languages, as well as in our Spanish, because that would make the research extremely annoying and slow (imagine all Czech, Slovakian and such names being revised all the way...). I'd like them to happen, but this time I think they're right with this choice and those accents are the most habitual and easy to find, since most of them repeat into the same names or surnames.

The result of the Moroccan RR Championship shows as number 15 a certain Mostepha El Amel with Algerian nationality. In the UCI results this rider, with the respectable age of 42, is Moroccan and his name is spelled slightly different: Mustapha El Amal.
