I think that the DoB’s (or at least the YoB’s) of the official UCI result ( here ) are more reliable than those of the start list of the Tour du Faso. The spelling differences with the CQ database are mainly the result of writing the phonetic pronunciation down in different ways.
The exact DoB’s of many riders from Burkina Faso, and of other African countries, are not known, only the approximate year. People were at the end of the last century more concerned with surviving (war, famine) than with going to the local authorities (if existing) to register the birth of a child.
As the UCI needs eight digits for a code they add 0101 or 1231 to the year. In the CQ database these additions are most of the time, although not consistently, deleted and only the year of birth is shown.

Just for the database, I've noticed that Maurizio Tura, taking part in the Jeux des Petits Etats d'Europe in 2001, is from San Marino, not Malta.

But regarding the name of stage 1 winner, local press writes (as UCI for example), Kabré and not Kaboré though...

You are right Stéphane. The local press is probably the best source for the correct spelling of names, so Issaka KABORE should indeed be KABRE in the CQ database.
By the way, there are two other KABOREs in the database (Désiré and Karim) but it seems, after a bit of Googling, that they really both are spelled with an “O”.

I think it is the same Richard Hincapie. He is in the CQ database as a rider from the Bahamas, because he finished 6th in Championships of the Bahamas in 2009, but in fact he is American. He is the elder brother of George Hincapie and President of Hincapie Sportswear.

The Hincapie’s have close links with the Bahamas. The Hincapie Development Team hold training camps there and participate in the Tour de Bahamas. George participated last week in a triathlon in the Bahamas, sponsored by Hincapie Sports.
