| The status of Kleber Ramos SILVA has been changed in the data base to provisionally suspended but still needs a Rider Comment: Kleber Ramos SILVA tested positive for CERA in an out-of-competition control on 31 July 2016. He was provisionally suspended and is awaiting a verdict.
Miguel Angel PEREZ LAPARRA is in the data base as provisionally suspended and awaiting a verdict, following a positive test on 3 April 2010… Have not found any information about a verdict being pronounced, only that he had tested already positive in 2001 as well. Suggest to change his status to Retired and his Rider Comment to: Miguel Angel PEREZ tested positive for anabolic steroids on 3 April 2010 after an MTB race in Belize. He was provisionally suspended and is awaiting his verdict.
The status of Raphael Mesquita MENDES should be Elite-2 (Prov. suspended), as mentioned in his Rider Comment.
Eduard VORGANOV, after being cleared by the Russian Federation in May 2016 (little slip in his Rider Comment), has also been cleared officially by the UCI on 4 August 2016.

| A suspension which does not appear (yet?) in the UCI table: Alanzo GREAVES (Elite-2 > Suspended) Rider Comment: Alanzo GREAVES tested positive for Testosterone on 1 November 2015 after the Tour of Guyana. He was suspended by the Caribbean Regional Anti-Doping Organisation for 1 year until 1 November 2016. A bit of background. On 1 November 2015 the Caribbean RADO named ten riders for a doping test after the five day stage race Tour of Guyana. Nine gave samples, one refused ( link 1). On 7 January 2016 the RADO announced that there had been three Adverse Analytical Findings. Alanzo GREAVES, one of them, positive for testosterone, admitted, waived a re-test of his B sample, and was suspended for one year ( link 2). According to the media the other two riders are the Jamaican Marlon RODMAN and Darren MATTHEWS from Barbados ( link 3). No verdicts have been pronounced however, neither by their national federations nor by RADO. Carlos OSPINA, the rider who refused to give a sample, was the day after the race disqualified as winner of the Tour of Guyana ( link 4), but no official suspension has been pronounced thus far for him either. He was already suspended in 2008 for 2 years for a doping violation. Maybe one day we will get the full story. | |

This link gives, in alphabetical order, a table of all suspensions pronounced by the UCI in the years 2009-2012. The majority of these suspensions are covered in the CQ Doping Documents and are incorporated in the Results and Rider databases, but several cases are missing. It concerns suspensions that in the meantime have ended but which still need a Rider Comment, a line in the Doping Documents and in most cases DSQ’s.

It seems like many of these don't have a rider comment added into the database yet. Grau and Nicacio definitely appear to have served bans judging by the lack of results during the years mentioned. - LeonCQ wrote:

It is never too late to do so... And actually, apart from GRAU, there are not so many DSQ's to enter.

| Rafael INFANTINO and Ivan PARRA are in the database shown as Suspended although their Rider Comments mention that they are awaiting a verdict. Both are effectively suspended by the Colombian federation for 4 years ( link), but they do not yet appear in the UCI sanctions list and the official end date of their suspensions has not been published. Assume that the UCI will also still disqualify Infantino from his results in the Vuelta a Colombia 2015. To be consistent, I suggest to change for the moment their Rider Comments to: Rafael INFANTINO tested positive for GHRP-2 and Metaboli te in an out of competition control in July 2015. He was suspended by the Colombian federation for 4 years.Ivan PARRA tested positive for GHRP-2 and Metaboli te in September 2015 during the Clasico RCN. He was suspended by the Colombian federation for 4 years.

[/b] I'm in doubt about the approach when one of the riders of a winning team is positive in a TTT? Infantino will be DQ in stage 1 of the Vuelta Colombia, but will the team still be winning?

I think that article 2.6.238 covers this situation, although it talks about a violation during the race, not an offense prior to the race: -The team is relegated to the last place of the stage, but keeps the actual time. -The team gets a 10 minutes penalty in the Teams GC.

He was already suspended for two years in 2010, so this time it will be for life I presume. The Russians are Sergey SHILOV (DQ in the Vuelta a La Rioja) and Yury TROFIMOV (DQ in Paris - Nice and the Volta a Catalunya). The two Polish riders, Marcin POLAK and Michal LADOSZ, are disqualified from the Para-Cycling track world championships. Michal LADOSZ is in the CQ database, but his last result goes back to 2009.
